"grief." was a short, abstract animation representing the stages of grief split into 10 different visual feelings: shock, denial, pain, anger, bargaining, depression, loneliness, recovery, reconstruction, and acceptance. I chose to work with liquid animation, as I've always viewed most emotions as fluid, but overall my focus was to create a visual metaphor using mainly simple shapes as to not distract from the meaning of the piece as a whole.
